Owatonna boys hockey opens the playoffs Thursday at Rochester JM. Blooming Prairie and Triton boys hoops also go on the road for playoff games.

The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team will open the Section 1A, West Subsection playoffs with a home game on Tuesday against Christian Life Academy at 7PM.

The Owatonna High School boys won 61-49 at home while the girls pulled away for a 70-56 win. OHS gymnastics had another solid night scoring 145.5.
