Summer Events at the Owatonna and Blooming Prairie Libraries

The Owatonna and Blooming Prairie Libraries have a variety of events throughout the summer for all ages.

Beginning Monday, June 6: Blooming Prairie Summer Reading Program from 10AM to noon then Storytime meets on Tuesdays at 10:30AM. Owatonna's will start on Wednesday, June 8 from 3-6PM and Storytime will meet on Tuesdays at 9:30 and 10:30AM. Both end on August 30.

Blooming Prairie Summer Movie begins on Monday, June 13 and every Monday through August 29. Showings at 2PM.

Owatonna Library Wednesdays: June 15 through August 31: Gardening with LouAnn from 9-10AM. June 22 through July 27: Adventure Club will met at 3PM

• Wednesday (June 8): Mr. Billy at 1PM in Blooming Prairie
• Thursday (June 9): Zooman in Owatonna at 10AM and in Blooming Prairie at 1PM.
• Wednesday (June 15): Disc Golf from 3-6PM in Blooming Prairie
• Thursday (June 16): Bakken Science Museum in Owatonna at 10AM and in Blooming Prairie at 1PM.
• Thursday (June 23): Mu Daiku Drummers in Owatonna at 10AM and in Blooming Prairie at 1PM.
• Tuesday (June 28): Author Derek Anderson at 10AM.
• Wednesday (June 29): LEGO Mania from 10AM to noon.
• Thursday (June 30): June Book Fair in Owatonna from 10-6 and in Blooming Prairie from 1-4.

Blooming Prairie Public Library will have LEGO Mania on Friday, July 1, from 1-3PM. Shared events in July include:

• Thursday (July 7): Spins and Strings Yo-Yoing in Owatonna at 10AM and Blooming Prairie at 1PM
• Wednesday (July 13): Jim Jayes' Marionettes in Owatonna at 10AM and Blooming Prairie at 1PM
• Thursday (July 21): Magic Shows -- Mystifying Magic in Owatonna at 10AM and Greg the Magician in Blooming Prairie at 2:30PM
• Thursday (July 28): July Book Fair in Owatonna will be from 10-6PM and in Blooming Prairie from 1-4

August events at the libraries include:

• Thursday (Aug. 11): Create-A-Craft in Owatonna from 10-11:30AM and Take-It-Apart in Blooming Prairie from 1-3PM.
• Thursday (Aug. 28): Book Fair in Owatonna from 10-6 and in Blooming Prairie from 1-4.
