The Steele County History Center will be hosting a fun event for young and old on Saturday, November 19. There will be a Victorian Tea from 10AM to 3PM. It's an opportunity for a parent or grandparent and a child to sample a real old-time Christmas. There will be holiday treats, a Christmas carol singalong with a reading of the Night Before Christmas in the Dunnell House. Children will also have the chance to make a Victorian-type ornament to take home. It's $20 per child with parent and $10 for each additional sibling.

Later Saturday night it will be another Americana Showcase featuring Edward David Anderson and Brandon Sampson along with John Wheeler of Six Mile Grove at the Steele County History Center. The concert will be 6:30-10PM. Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers

Wednesday, November 30, is the date for a nonprofit Holiday Open House at the History Center. Then the first weekend in December it's the Christmas in the Village event. Learn more about these two happenings on Monday, November 28, on KRFO's Talk of the Town at 9:40AM.
