The Blades have dominated Blaine this season. They hope the trend continues as their next four games are against the Energy, starting with Friday, November 13, at Four Seasons.

Steele County scored a 4-1 win over Illiana on Sunday, November 8, in their most recent game. Soren Colstrup and Chase Lewis each scored twice. That win followed a disheartening loss to the Blackbirds the previous evening. Steele County blew a two-goal lead during the 7-5 loss.

In ten of their games, Steele County (5-13-4) has lost by two goals or less. The Blades are 3-0 against the Energy (1-17-1) this season.

After Friday's game at 7PM in Owatonna, the teams play in Blaine on Saturday, November 14, at 7:30PM. They also meet in Blaine on Sunday, November 22. The four-game stretch ends in Owatonna on Saturday, November 28, at 1PM.

The Blades have battled through numerous injuries this season and were happy to welcome Clayton Huss back to the ice over the weekend after missing about a month. Huss had an assist in each game against Illiana.

Forward Colton Sprenger is from the Des Moines, Iowa, area but began playing hockey while living in Dallas. He says his family has fallen in love with the game and his younger brother is playing now too.
