The Steele County Clothesline invites you to their first Come Fly With Me event. It'll be Saturday, January 28, from 6-9PM at the Owatonna Country Club. The event consists of sampling food and beverages from four regions of the country. Sites this year are the Southwest, Tennessee, Chicago and the Napa Valley.

Attendees who bring a household item or a piece of clothing to donate to the Clothesline that night will get a free stamp on their passport. Part of the event will consist of individuals trying to fill up their passport with stamps that they get for correctly answering questions. Answers can be obtained by looking around the night of the 28th or talking to Clotheline personnel. Complete your passport and then be eligible for a drawing for prizes.

Tickets are on sale at Kristi's, Kottke's and at Clothesline.

Last year the Steele County Clothesline served about 650 families, which translates into about 3,000 individuals. Items that are always in demand include socks and bath towels. To donate just pull in back and knock. Donation hours are Monday and Wednesdays from 9AM to 5:30PM; Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 9AM to 3:30PM; and Saturdays from 9-11AM.
