Baseball season might feel far away, but it will be here before long. KRFO's Roy Koenig spoke with Mike Veeck of the St. Paul Saints on their upcoming visit to Owatonna.

Owatonna Park and Recreation and the Husky Bullpen Club will host the St. Saints on Saturday, May 16 at Dartt's Park!

The event will be the latest in a series of "barnstorming" games the Saints have played around the state. The Owatonna Aces/Southern Minny All Stars will take on the Saints at 3:10 p.m. Gates will open at noon Saturday, May 16 for a variety of pregame activities.

Tickets are $20 and will be available starting at Owatonna Park and Recreation registration night on Friday, Feb. 27 at SeniorPlace from 4-7 p.m. You can meet Saints mascot Mudonna that night. Tickets also will be available at the Park & Rec office after Feb. 27.

The exhibition game in Owatonna will come just two days before the Saints play their first regular-season game in their new CHS Field ballpark. Watch for another segment with Saints owner Mike Veeck and KRFO's Roy Koenig soon.
