My goodness, there is no lack of places to go for good eating in the coming weeks here in Southern Minnesota.

We can start off Thursday, March 16, at the Owatonna Eagles where the Steele County Humane Society will host their pancake supper and silent auction from 4:30-7PM.

This Friday night and each Friday through April 7, the Owatonna KC Hall and Lounge will offer up their all you care to eat Fish Fry from 5-7PM. Also this Friday you can enjoy a Baked Cod meal at the Owatonna Hy-Vee to benefit the Steele County Free Fair Building Fund from 4-7PM.

Saturday it's a traditional St. Patrick's Day dinner at the Owatonna Elks from 5-7PM to benefit the Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna. Before that, you can enjoy a meal at the Dustin Remme Cancer Benefit at the Owatonna Eagles from noon to 7PM.

Sunday, enjoy the Steele County 4-H Pasta Dinner and Silent Auction at the Owatonna Junior High from 3:30-7PM.

Monday, March 20, dine in or carry out at the Owatonna Buffalo Wild Wings. Mention the Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area and Buffalo Wild Wings will give them 10 percent of all pre-tax sales.

March is Minnesota Food Share Month and the Ellendale Area Food Shelf is having a fundraising Turkey Hotdish meal on Wednesday, March 22, from 5:30-6:30PM. It's a donation for this meal at the Ellendale United Methodist Church.

And if one looks around, I'm sure there are evening more dining experiences in the area in the coming days.
