Sheriff’s Posse Wagon Train Is Coming To Waseca

The 32nd annual Wagon Train for Youth sponsored by the Minnesota Sheriff's Posse Association is coming to Waseca. The event will be Sept. 11-13 at the Waseca County Fairgrounds.

The fairgrounds will be open starting at 4PM on Sept. 10 for participants and close at noon Sunday, Sept. 13. The ride will cover 15-20 miles on Friday and Saturday. You do not need a wagon to take part; riders with saddled horses are invited to follow the wagons.

Breakfast will be served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and an evening meal on Friday and Saturday. Saturday's ride will be to Farmamerica's Fall Festival.

Participation fees are $50 per person for the weekend or $25 for one day. Children younger than 11 are $20 per weekend. Money raised goes to the Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota. Participation fees and donations may be sent to Warren Routh at 621 E. Eighth St., Waseca, MN 56093.
