Section Playoffs Begin Thursday for KRFO-area Baseball Teams

Section baseball action gets underway Thursday with single-elimination games for the local teams. Blooming Prairie at Faribault Bethlehem Academy will be on Power 96 radio.

Blooming Prairie (3-17, No. 7 seed in the subsection) has won three of their last five games and lost a close 10-6 decision to Bethlehem Academy (10-10, No. 2 seed) during that run. BA scored a 12-2 win over the Awesome Blossoms early in the season. Thursday's 5PM Section 1A game will be carried on Power 96 radio.

Also Thursday, No. 7 seed Triton plays at No. 2 Pine Island at 5PM in a Section 1AA contest.

Friday the 2AA playoffs include NRHEG (8-12, No. 13 seed) at St. Peter (11-9, No. 4 seed) at 3PM and Medford (11-8, No. 11 seed) at Tri-City United (11-9, No. 6 seed) at 1PM.
