Scoreboard: Owatonna Baseball Topped Faribault 8-3 Tuesday

Owatonna baseball scored an 8-3 win at Faribault in 70-degree weather Tuesday. Golf, lacrosse, softball, and track and field also hit the courses and fields.

Baseball:

Owatonna 8, Faribault 3

The bottom third of the Huskies batting order keyed a pair of three-run rallies as OHS picked up an 8-3 Big Nine win over Faribault at Bell Field. Erik Benson had three hits and an RBI. Blake Westphal had two hits. Dexter Leer drove in three runs and made three dazzling defensive plays at shortstop. Isaac Rocha threw six innings to get the win. Owatonna hosts Albert Lea Thursday at 5PM at Dartt's Park, live on KRFO AM 1390.
