Blooming Prairie's football team will host Goodhue for Friday's homecoming game at 7 pm with coverage on Kat Kountry 105FM. For each team, it's their first big test of the season. The combined record for the first four opponents for both the Awesome Blossoms and Wildcats is 3-13. BP has averaged 48 points while surrendering just four total touchdowns. Goodhue has scored 33 points per contest while giving up just one touchdown all season.

No. 5A-Blooming Prairie (4-0) faces a challenging run to the end of the season with Hayfield (2-2), Mayer-Lutheran (3-1) and Rushford-Peterson (4-0) yet to come. Goodhue is ranked No. 4 in this week's Associated Press poll.

NRHEG (3-1) hosts Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (3-1) Friday night in the final regular season meeting between the two for the time being. WEM moves to the Mid-Southeast District next season, the same district as Blooming Prairie and Medford.

Triton (0-4) goes to Dover-Eyota (3-1) Friday after running a gauntlet of teams. The Cobras first four opponents (Rochester Lourdes, Caledonia, Chatfield and St. Charles) are a combined 16-0 and all top ten ranked.

Medford (3-1) is back home for the fourth time in five weeks to host Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity (2-2). The Tigers lost to a good Mayer-Lutheran team in week four.

Top-ranked and unbeaten Owatonna (4-0) plays at Mankato East (2-2) Friday night at 7 pm on KRFO AM 1390 and the KRFO app. The other Big Southeast games include Mankato West at New Prague, Faribault at Rochester Mayo, Rochester Century at Winona, John Marshall at Red Wing and Austin at Northfield.
