River Bend Nature Center Events

There are a number of events coming up at River Bend Nature Center in Faribault. The annual New Year's Snowshoe and Hike will take place on Sunday, January 1 from 10-11AM. Wear snowshoes or boots and enjoy a scenic one-mile trek with a River Bend naturalist. The cost is whatever you wish to put in the donation jar.

Saturday, January 7 the Bagels and Birds program returns. Stop in between 9:30 and 10:30AM for a cup of coffee and bagels and watch birds and other visitors to the Nature Center. A naturalist will be available to help with identification and there will be binoculars and guide books as well to enhance the experience.

Get up close with River Bend's Animal Ambassadors during their Meet and Greet on Saturday, January 14. Hours will be 9:30-11AM. The cost is $5 per person or $25 per family. river Bend members pay just $3 or $10 per family. A naturalist will be on hand enabling to get up close and learn more about these creatures.
