Ride for the Brand in Owatonna Sets Dates

The Mowrys of Mowry's Lazy Meadows outside Owatonna realized the therapeutic benefit of animals and several years ago began the Ride for the Brand. It's a program featuring horses designed to allow people with special needs and Wounded Warriors to enjoy a horseback ride at their farm. The dates this year will once again be Thursday evenings in July starting at 6:30PM. Dates are July 6, 13, 20 and 27. There will also be hay rides and games. If you wish, you may just come out and hang with the horses a while. This program is made possible by area horse enthusiasts and their best friends.
