Paradise Center for the Arts Executive Director Kristin Twitchell will be joined by Brian Leighton on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program.  We will be going over February events at the Paradise.  G.B. Leighton performs this Saturday at 7:30 p.m.  Billed Minnesota's Best Country Rock Show.  You might recall Leighton headlined the 10th Annual Blue Collar BBQ and Arts Festival last August.

The full band will be at the Paradise.  For more than a decade and twelve albums, Brian Leighton and his five piece band have been entertaining crowds throughout the area.  Leighton was honored by Billboard.com as a Top 10 Country Artist to Watch.  Opening February 15 Paradise Community Theatre presents "Last Train to NIbroc" by Arlan Hutton.

Faribault High School senior Samuel Temple is directing this production about a chance encounter on an overcrowded cross-country train from Los Angeles.  This takes place in the roaring 1920's.   We hope to have Temple stop by for a visit on a future AM Minnesota program.

Monday, February 18 Grammy-nominated recording artist Raul Midon stops by the Paradise.  He has collaborated with Steve Wonder, Herbie Hancock and Bill Withers.  Also contributed to recordings by Queen Latifah and Snoop Dog.  The New York Times has called Midon, "a one-man band who turns a guitar into an orchestra and his voice into a chorus."
