After all the local events were postponed Tuesday by cold, wet, windy weather, teams are hoping for better conditions for the rest of the week. Mother Nature might not be listening.

Owatonna's coed track relays for Thursday and the girls' fast pitch softball game at Farmington on Friday have both been postponed according to the Big Nine Conference website.

Medford baseball is scheduled to play at Bethlehem Academy for the Cardinals home opener, with the coverage on Power 96 radio. Other local baseball for Thursday is postponed including NRHEG hosting United South Central and Blooming Prairie against Maple River. Softball Thursday includes Medford entertaining JWP. The Blooming Prairie golf teams are scheduled to host Triton.

The Huskies' boys track team is scheduled to make up a meet Friday at Lakeville South. The forecast calls for a sunny sky but windy and cool conditions.

The baseball schedule for Friday has NRHEG hosting Tri-City United and Medford at Triton. The Cobra softball team hosts Byron. Medford and Triton track teams go to Plainview-Elgin-Millville.
