This Sunday, walk as part of a team or as an individual during Walk MS in Faribault. Power 96 will be there broadcasting live from the event. Multiple sclerosis is a disease that attacks the central nervous system. According to walkMS.org, symptoms can "range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis." The majority of people suffering from multiple sclerosis are women, and the disease affects about 2.3 million people throughout the world.

The Faribault Walk for MS will take place this Sunday at the Shattuck-St. Mary’s Dane Family Fieldhouse. Registration is from 9-10AM with a cowbell start at 10AM. There will be a handicap accessible route and scenic 5K route will be set up for all ages. It's free to walk; all donations are welcome. Donate $2 and paint your name on the Elko Speedway bus and get a free ticket to the Saturday, May 28, Eve of Destruction. Register yourself or your team at walkMS.org.
