Playoff Basketball Time Heating Up: NRHEG, Blooming Prairie, Medford All Play Tuesday

Boys basketball playoff action is cranking up to full speed this week. Tuesday, Feb. 24 includes Medford at NRHEG and Blooming Prairie playing at the Mayo Civic Center.

NRHEG is the No. 2 seed for the Section 2AA tournament and will open their playoffs at home Tuesday, Feb. 24 versus Medford at 7 p.m. Radio coverage will be on Kat Kountry 105-FM. Use the RadioPup app to listen live.

Blooming Prairie rallied from behind last week to win their opener. Tuesday they face Lyle/Pacelli about 7:30 p.m. at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester in the Section 1A, West Subsection semifinals.

Owatonna opens the 1AAAA playoffs at defending state champ Lakeville North on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
