Youngsters can get up close and personal with animals on Friday in Central Park as the Medford FFA brings in a petting zoo. Owatonna's RAD Zoo will be there with some of their animals as well.

Friday's activities for Owatonna's Crazy Days includes several attractions in Central Park. Steele County 4-H will host Splash into 4-H from 11AM to 2PM. The Medford FFA sponsors a petting zoo from 11AM to 2PM. The RAD Zoo of Owatonna then presents a selection of its animals from 1:30PM to 4PM. The Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Zoo, located across I-35 from Cabela's, has an alligator, snakes, turtles, birds, fish, frogs and toads. Kids will have to attend Friday's event in Central Park to see which animals make the trip. The RAD Zoo takes its animals to birthday parties, Boy Scout events, church and school programs and more.

Crazy Days starts Thursday with kids activities in Central Park at 9:30AM. A classic car show on North Cedar is set for 5-7PM. The Owatonna Community Band performs at 7PM.

There is music Friday at the band shell with Dekam and Johnson.

Saturday's events include the farmer's market, entertainment in Central Park, the Color Dash and Downtown Art on the Greens on the old State Theater site.

Merchants will hold sidewalk sales throughout Crazy Days.
