Owatonna’s Winter Weekend Out

Owatonna Parks and Recreation have once again planned their Winter Weekend Out. It's an opportunity for families to get out and enjoy some of the resources Owatonna has to offer. It's easy on the pocket too. The Weekend Out runs January 27-29.

You can start the weekend off on Friday at West Hills. A sledding party begins at 1PM along with games and crafts in SeniorPlace at 2PM followed by a movie at 3PM.

There will be a Fat Tire Bike Demo on Saturday from 10AM to 2PM at Kaplan's. Then head over to Lake Kohlmier for an Adult Bocce Ball Tournament from 2-5PM. You must be 18 or older to attend this event.

The event with the DJ at Morehouse on Saturday night has been postponed till February 18.

Wrap up your weekend Sunday with Family Ice Fishing on Lake Kohlmier from 2:30-4:30PM. there will be giveaways, prizes and demos as well.

The weather looks to be normal as well, with highs in the low 20s. Get out and enjoy.
