The days are ticking away until Harvest Jam on Saturday, September 10, at the Olmsted County Fairgorunds. The headliner is Rodney Atkins with six No. 1 hits under his belt.

The music begins at 4PM with the Plott Hounds. Among the members is John "Marty" Lestock. As the saying goes "the apple didn't fall too far from the tree." Marty has apparently inherited a love of music from his dad. The Rev. John Lestock brings to mind Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna, the Steele County Food Shelf, the Hometown Sampler and the senior Lestock's affiliation with Hot n Bothered.

JT and the Gunslingers take the stage at 5PM followed by Roadhouse 6 at 6:30PM and then Rodney Atkins at 8PM.

There's still time to nominate an American Hero. Go to the Minnesota Harvest Jam website to nominate a police officer, fireman or veteran for a chance to win free tickets and parking for the event. It's powered by Midwest Home Solutions.

You can also send a photo of "How You Jam" via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the #HarvestJam hashtag for a chance to win tickets.

Be listening the next couple of Tuesday mornings for back-to-back Rodney Atkins songs and be the fifth caller to win tickets to see Rodney Atkins at Harvest Jam on September 10.
