OHS wrestling went 3-0 at the Kennedy Duals on Saturday. Huskies girls basketball beat a section rival. However, OHS girls hockey saw its unbeaten streak end.

Owatonna wrestling only added the Bloomington Kennedy duals to their schedule a couple of days before going through and sweeping through the competition. The No. 6AAA Huskies swept Champlin Park 83-0 in the first round. They beat the host team 45-13 in round two and topped No. 8AAA Hastings 36-23 for the title. OHS goes to No. 1AA Kasson-Mantorville on Friday, February 3.

The OHS girls basketball team got off to a slow start against Section 1AAAA rival Farmington, but quickly rallied and won the game 65-59 at the OHS gym. It was Owatonna's sixth straight win. The Huskies a big week of conference games. Tuesday the Big Nine-leading Huskies play at third-place Northfield. On Friday, Owatonna hosts the current co-conference leaders from Winona.

The Huskies girls hockey team had their 10-game unbeaten streak snapped by Northfield 4-0 at Four Seasons Centre. The Raiders scored late in the first and went up 2-0 late in the second period on a 5-on-3 power play. They added a shorthanded, 3-on-5 goal in the third. The Huskies wrap up their season this week with a game at Rochester JM on Thursday and home vs. Mayo on Saturday. Playoffs begin February 8.

The Westfield Razorbacks wrestling team won the Lake City Tournament on Saturday.
