Owatonna's girls softball and boys tennis teams each went 2-1 in tournaments on Saturday. The boys lacrosse team won its game to extend its winning streak.

OHS girls fast pitch softball took third place at the Shakopee tournament, beating Big Lake 10-8 in their final game. In their opener, the Huskies outscored Rosemount 10-7. Tiana Blazek drove in six runs and had a triple and a home run.

Owatonna dropped the semifinal game 12-1 to Apple Valley. The Huskies (4-5) are scheduled to play Mankato East on Monday in a 4PM make-up doubleheader, but the forecast is not favorable. Tuesday is a kids night event with prize drawings and player autographs as the Huskies host Rochester Century at 5PM at Morehouse Park.

OHS boys tennis lost their first match 5-2 to host team Lakeville South at a Saturday tournament. The Huskies bounced back with consecutive 4-3 wins over Robbinsdale Armstrong and Mahtomedi to take the consolation title. Owatonna is scheduled to host Austin on Monday afternoon. OHS (5-0 in the conference, according to the Big Nine website) faces Rochester Century (8-0) and Rochester Mayo (7-0) this week.

The Huskies boys lacrosse team won its fourth straight game in beating Duluth Denfeld 9-2 Saturday. Owatonna (4-2 on minnesota-scores.net) plays at Rochester JM on Monday at 7:30PM with coverage on KRFO AM 1390.

Other Monday events for Owatonna include a baseball makeup at Mankato East at 6:30PM and boys golf at Red Wing at 2:30PM.

Blooming Prairie baseball blanked Lyle/Pacelli on Saturday 8-0. The Blossoms are scheduled to play at Maple River on Monday.
