Get downtown early and bring your radio for the Owatonna High School homecoming parade Friday at 1:30PM. OHS principal Mark Randall will assist KRFO AM 1390 with coverage.

With a forecast high near 60 and sunny skies predicted, a big crowd is expected for the homecoming parade on Friday. The theme for the day is "Huskies are Back in Town." After consecutive road games, the football team will host New Prague on Friday night at 7PM.

A pepfest was held a last week to set the stage for the homecoming "OHS Road Trip." Coronation opened up homecoming week on Monday with the crowning of Maria Golberg and Austin Abbas as queen and king. Coronation will be played on the radio Friday afternoon at 5:45PM as a lead in to the football game broadcast.

Powder puff football brought out a big crowd to the OHS stadium field Wednesday as the girls battled in a flag football tournament for bragging rights.

Homecoming week wraps up with a dance Saturday night.

The Huskies (5-1) are on a five-game winning streak. This is believed to be the first meeting between Owatonna and New Prague (0-6).

Blooming Prairie's homecoming is also this week. A parade will be held at 4:30PM Friday. The Awesome Blossoms host United South Central Friday night at 7PM.
