Recent Owatonna High School graduates Andrew Wall and John Swenson earned the chance to play on a pair of courses at Breezy Point this week.

Wall and Swenson earned the invitation to the PGA Valspar Players Tour Tournament of Champions after scoring well in a series of events in June and July. This week's event featured about 40 of the top golfers 18-years-and-younger from around the state.

Wall, who just won the Owatonna City Open championship over the weekend, was tied for fourth after Wednesday's opening round at Birch Golf Course. He shot even par 72 and was four strokes behind the leader. Wall lipped out several putts. In Thursday's final round, played at Deacon's Lodge, Wall shot 77 to finish at five over par and take 11th place in the final standings.

Swenson, who finished fourth in the Owatonna City Open, shot 85 on the opening day and finished with 83 Thursday for a 168 total.

Brady Madsen of Raymond won the title with 139, one shot ahead of William Freeman of St. Cloud.
