Owatonna High School's adapted floor hockey team captured third place at the state tournament Saturday. Two Huskies were named to the All-Tournament team.

OHS beat St. Cloud Area 13-7 in the third-place game at Bloomington Jefferson High School. Sophomore Zach Sencer scored eight times and assisted on two others. Senior Alex Burns had a hat trick along with three assists. Junior goalie Nolan Engebretson stopped 24 shots.

The Huskies had dropped the semifinal game earlier in the day 12-5 to Anoka-Hennepin. Sencer and Burns combined on all five Owatonna goals. OHS opened the tournament Friday night with an 11-8 come-from-behind victory over Dakota United.

Burns and Sencer were named to the All-Tournament team, according to the Minnesota State High School League. North Suburban beat Anoka-Hennepin 6-5 in the championship game.

This appearance was the third straight for the Huskies and their 12th over the past 14 years. Owatonna ends their season at 14-1. The roster has Burns and Elizabeth Crawford as their only seniors.

Other players on Owatonna's roster according to the high school league website are juniors Engebretson and Sam Gefre, sophomores Sencer, Taylor Hagen and Sam Mullenbach and eighth-graders Melinda Abernathy, Skyler Kopecky-Johnson, Jasmine Talley, Katelyn Rysavy and Colton Drache. The coach is John Scheil.
