Owatonna Figure Skating Begins Sunday

If you have youngsters that like to skate or would like to learn, registration is open now with the Owatonna Figure Skating Club. The first fall session begins Sunday, September 10 with another fall session starting October 15. The winter session starts December 3.

There are class for beginners age 3 and older. There's a basic skills class for those who know how to skate ages 5 and up. The Free Skate Class is for advanced skaters which is divided into 3 sections.

The classes consist of a 30 minute group lesson followed by a 15 minute supervised practice time. Skaters will be tested during each session with badges awarded as each basic skill level is passed. The classes are held on Sundays and Thursday from 6-6:45PM.

The lessons culminate with the annual show Skating Through the Years which will be held March 10, 2018 at 2PM.
