Owatonna Curling Club To Offer Lessons

The Owatonna Curling Club is offering curling lessons. The Learn to Curl classes are available on Monday and Friday evenings from 5-10PM and all day Saturday. The cost is $10 per person which you may apply to a 20117-2018 membership. You may attend by yourself or sign up a private party of 10 or more for the classes.

There's a target date in January to start a new beginner's league with a charge of $60 per person or $50 if you take the above mentioned class.

The classes will be held on the Steele County Fairgrounds in the building just north of the Four Seasons Center where the organic crops and art displays are set up during the Steele County Fair.

The club will host the annual Grain Belt Classic Bonspiel on December 8-10. The entry fee is $280 per team with 4 events and 3 games guaranteed. Concessions will be available with prizes all weekend long. Information and sign up can be found at the Owatonna Curling Club web site.
