Several Owatonna businesses are giving back this holiday season. They are in some way contributing to area non profits this Christmas season.

Arrow Ace Hardware is allowing customers to round up. In other words, now through December 24 you can round up your purchase price with the difference being donated to the Steele County Food Shelf.

Klecker's Kreations is donating 155 of their sales from December 11 till Saturday, December 16 to the Owatonna Homestead Hospice House patient care fund. This money is used to help patients pay for room and board during their hospice stay.

Turtle Creek Nursery has announced that for each Christmas tree sold this season, three dollars of the sale will be donated to the Owatonna Foundation. Since its inception in 1957 the foundation has committed more than $11.75 million  in grants to Owatonna projects and annually awards $30,000 in scholarship to traditional and non traditional students.

Another example of the importance of supporting local businesses that support you.
