Owatonna baseball won their home opener Thursday 10-0 over Faribault. The OHS golf and tennis teams all opened their seasons.

The Huskies baseball team evened their early season record at 1-1 with a six-inning 10-0 victory over Faribault. Clay Leidall struck out 11 Falcons while going the distance. OHS plays at Minnetonka on Monday night at 7PM.

Owatonna's girls golfers finished fourth at a meet in Red Wing with a score of 373. Top five rated Red Wing won the meet with 294. Lakeville North shot 322 and Rochester Mayo was third at 339. Marie Otterson led Owatonna with 89. The others scorers for the Huskies were Megan Peglow (91), Shannon VanReeth (96) and Maddie Zulk (97). OHS plays at Faribault on Friday.

The Owatonna boys golfers finished seventh in Decorah, Iowa. And the OHS boys tennis team swept Waseca 7-0 on Thursday.
