A few openings remain for the 12th annual Ken Bey Football Classic golf tournament July 11 at Brooktree Golf Course in Owatonna.

Former Owatonna High School players, coaches and friends of Owatonna football are invited to play in this annual four-person best-shot tournament. Proceeds benefit Huskies football. The event is Saturday, July 11, at Brooktree Golf Course in Owatonna with an 11AM shotgun start.

Registration forms are available at Harlands, Tire and Auto Center, Kottke Jewelers, the Owatonna Country Club or Brooktree. You can also contact Marc Wiese at (507) 456-1547, or by email at mwiese60@gmail.com.

The registration fee of $85 covers everything.

It is also time to get the kids signed up for the 19th annual Huskies youth football camp. Open to those entering third through 10th grades, the camp is Monday, Aug. 3, through Thursday, Aug. 6 at the OHS football field. The Huskies football coaching staff will be joined by current and former OHS players to lead the camp. Athletes entering third through sixth grades will be taught skills related to all positions. Players going into seventh through 10th grades will choose one position on offense and defense to focus on.
