We're currently in the midst of our online auction at KRFO and Kat Kountry 105. I thought I'd take the time to answer some basic questions as to how it works.

1. What do I need to bid?

Click on the Seize The Deal tab in the trending bar and register your information. You'll need a credit card or a debit card.

2. How do I know if I'm the winning bidder?

You will receive an email notification. You will also be notified if you have been outbid.

3. Can I check the items out beforehand?

Yes, feel free to stop at the participating businesses and get your questions answered. Feel free to take a test drive of the Chevrolet at Owatonna Auto Clinic. Or stop at Sorensons and ask about the Samsung TV. Maybe take a nap at 3 Day Mattress on the Restonic Queen Size Mattress and Foundation. Mark says naps are free at 3 Day.

4. What about warranties?

The warranties would be the same as if you walked into the store and purchased the item there. Go ahead and ask the participating business for warranty details.

5. If I'm the winning bidder, what's next?

A certificate will be mailed to you. You then take the certificate to the business and use it like cash for the item.

Opening bids start at just 40 percent of the value. If you're the only bidder, you've saved 60 percent.

Click on the link and take a look at some of the items. Remember, Alexander Lumber is a complete store with more than lumber. Storms doors, insulation, power tools and more. Getting it at 60 percent off is a real sweet deal.

Bidding closes at 5PM Friday, November 20.
