Status Quo have numerous albums and a few awards with a signature hit, according to their website.

The founding members are front man on lead guitar Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt on guitar and vocals. In 1976 they were joined by Andrew Bown on keyboards, guitar, harmonica, bass and vocals. John "Rhino" Edwards joined in 1986 on bass, guitar and vocals. And newest member from 2013 on drums, guitar and bass is Leon Cave. Most of the members contribute to the songwriting.

Status Quo first hit the charts in January 1968 with "Pictures of Matchstick Men," reaching No. 7. In 2013, they released their 100th single.

The group opened Live Aid in 1985 with the now-anthem for the event, "Rockin' All Over The World."

Status Quo entered into the Guinness Book of Records in 1991, a very eventful year for them. The "Rock Til You Drop" event went on for 11 hours and 11 minutes at Sheffield Arena, Glasgow SE and CC, Birmingham NEC and Wembley.

That same year they were given two prestigious awards. From the BRITS award - "Outstanding Contribution To The British Music Industry." Then in Monte Carlo at the World Music Awards, HSH Prince Albert of Monaco presented them with the "Outstanding Contribution To The Rock Industry" award.

The Quo raised millions for charity starring in their "Bula Quo" that premiered at the Berlin Film Festival.

Status Quo have been on the British singles charts for 415 weeks, which equals more than seven years. The group has been in more than 6,000 shows in the past 48 years traveling more than 4 million miles.

Along the way they created "Piledriver," a best-selling beer brand.

In 2014, Aquostic (Stripped Bare) was a best-selling UK album.

Francis Rossi has been married twice with eight children. He is known as "Frame" or "Gomorr."

Rick Parfitt has been married three times and has four children. He is known as "The Womorr."

Andrew Bown, "Acid Man" for his wit, has been married twice with four children.

John "Rhino" Edwards, also known as "The Bludgeon" for being clumsy, currently married with three children.

Leon Cave played on Francis Rossi's solo tour in 2010.
