Music to movies ... Bertie Higgins, from imdb.com written by Higgins.

Elbert Higgins, Bertie, was born and raised in Florida. He was a teen when he met Richard Boone and Burt Reynolds. They saw writing potential in Bertie.

Higgins instead concentrated on music. He released "Key Largo" and it became a U.S. and international chart topper. Bertie then appeared on a variety of TV shows including The Guiding Light and the mystery movie Out of Hand.

Higgins then began a film-making and production company with his son in 2004. He did some writing, starring, directing and music in the films.

In 2012, Beast Beneath and Poker Run were the first films released. Tom Sizemore starred in the next film, The Colombian Connection. Just a couple of years ago, Higgins' first family film, Christmas in Hollywood, was released.
