Employees at Owatonna Public Utilities are getting used to new 'digs' in new offices at the Owatonna power plant. The move is part of renovations from the 2010 flood.

Monday marked the relocation of the offices even as cosmetic construction continued in the new lobby. The public entrance is on the east side of the building. Eventually there will be a southern access as well. Phase 2 of reconstruction includes demolition of the flood damaged portion of the building. That begins in mid-September. The area south of the facility will be turned into a parking lot by late fall.
