Homecoming coronation was Monday night at NRHEG High School. Rachel Collins and Alex Blaschko were named queen and king for the Panthers.

The other queen candidates were Grace Johns, Lacey Nelson, Kallie Spooner, Cynthia Quezada and Mercedes Dickerson. The other candidates for king were Josh Fleming, Luis Gaona, Jack Schultz, Will Rudau and Chad Agrimson.

Special dress up days continue throughout the week. Tuesday is animal day at the high school and pajama day at the elementary. Wednesday is wacky sock day. Thursday is support your favorite sports team day. The NRHEG volleyball team will host United South Central on Thursday at 7:15PM for their Dig Pink Cancer Night event.

Friday is Panther pride day. Collins and Blaschko will reign over the homecoming parades on Friday. The parade is at 12:30PM in Ellendale and at 2:15PM in New Richland.

Friday night's football game has the Panthers hosting Lake Crystal-Welcome-Memorial. NRHEG (5-1) has won five straight. The Knights are 2-4. Kickoff is 7PM.

Other varsity sports this week include cross country at Oak View Golf Course and volleyball at Faribault Bethlehem Academy, both on Tuesday.
