The North American Farm and Power Show comes to the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna on March 17, 18 and 19.

Once again the University of Minnesota Extension will offer educational seminars that are open to the public.

Thursday the topics to be covered will be the Buffer Law at 1PM, followed by a Steele County Conservation Office update at 2PM, followed by the benefits and limitations of Buffer Strips at 2:20PM.

Friday at noon will be registration, and the Minnesota Association of County Feedlot Officers will offer a training session for commercial manure applicators.

At 1PM there will be a CAWT License Program Update followed by a Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy discussion at 1:35PM.

Friday at 2:20PM the topic will be Application Timing and Nitrification Inhibitors.

Winding up Friday there will be a presentation on Nitrogen and Phosphorus Regulations at 3PM followed by Rules of the Road at 3:45PM, offered by Dave Busse of the Minnesota State Patrol.
