Owatonna senior Noah Scheid scored his 100th career point during the Huskies' 6-2 win at Albert Lea on Tuesday night. Scheid had a goal and three assists.

Owatonna's recent offensive onslaught continued at Roy Nystrom Rink in Albert Lea in the 6-2 victory. Scheid scored the first goal of the game about midway through the first period. He added three assists as Owatonna won for the fifth time in six games while outscoring its opponents 36-4 in those wins. The streak was interrupted by Rochester JM Saturday.

Scheid stormed onto the scene as a sophomore, scoring 30 points. As a junior he had 32 points and has now reached 40 this season.

Owatonna's other goals came from Adam Rehman, Alec Holcomb, Mitch Wiese, Tyler Wencl and Kade Friedrichs. OHS converted on three power plays to improve on their 30 percent efficiency on the season. The goal by Wiese came on a penalty kill on a length-of-the-ice clear that was deflected by an Albert Lea player and misplayed by the goalie.

The Huskies outshot the Tigers roughly 52-19.

Owatonna (11-8-1 overall, 9-4 Big Nine) plays at Winona at 6:30PM Thursday. There is no junior varsity game.
