It looks like the Minnesota Vikings are getting a key piece back to their lineup, but more importantly defensive end Everson Griffen has gotten the help he needs and feels like he is ready to return to team activities.

The Minnesota Vikings annouced yesterday that Everson Griffen would return to team activities and practice after an absence from the team.

It is still not known when Griffen will return to game action, but head coach Mike Zimmer did say that that the team will work him into team activities and start him with practice this week. Zimmer wasn't sure when Griffen would return to game action.

It is great to see Griffen healthy enough to make it back to the squad, and hopefully, he continues to get better as the days go by.

The Vikings host the New Orleans Saints Sunday night in a big matchup of two of the top teams in the NFC.
