The Minnesota Twins annual winter caravan swings through Owatonna on Thursday at 6PM at Plaza Morena Campestre Grill on 26th Street Northeast. The event is free.

This year's program will include a recap of the 2015 season, an outlook on 2016, a Q&A session and autographs. No tickets are needed to attend, but arrive early for the best seats. You can also order off the Plaza Morena menu if you like.

Players scheduled to appear include newly acquired catcher John Ryan Murphy and outfielder Eduardo Escobar. Murphy was obtained from the Yankees in a trade for Aaron Hicks. Former Twin and current broadcaster Dan Gladden and is also scheduled to be on hand. I wouldn't be surprised to see TC Bear as well.

The Twins have held the winter caravan for decades as a way to meet their fans around the Midwest and get people excited for the new season. Pitchers and catchers report to Florida in about a month.

KRFO AM 1390 is your local Twins affiliate, with spring training games in March and the regular season beginning in early April.

Twinsfest is this weekend at Target Field. The family event includes clubhouse tours, autograph stations, sports memorabilia and more. Hours are 4-9:30PM Friday, January 29, 9AM to 6PM Saturday, and 9AM to 4PM Sunday.
