Long Prairie, MN (KROC AM News) - A search is on for a man identified as a suspect in a possible murder in west central Minnesota.

Police in Long Prairie were called to a residence around 8 p.m. Thursday and found the body of a woman. Evidence at the scene indicated she had been murdered. An autopsy was scheduled to determine the cause of death and a positive ID.

Neighbors of the home told police they saw the man and woman outside the residence around 5:30 p.m.Thursday and then heard the two arguing a short while later.

The man being sought is 35-year-old Raul Herrera Torres.

It’s believed he left in a 2002 tan Ford Focus with Minnesota license plate 976 DYA and may be headed to California or Mexico.
