Little Theatre of Owatonna Presents Shakespeare This Weekend

The next Little Theatre of Owatonna presentation is Much Ado About Nothing, a comedy by William Shakespeare. Show times are Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22, at 7:30PM  with a 2PM matinee on Sunday, April 23. The show will be presented next week on April 28 and 29 at 7:30PM and Sunday, April 30, at 2PM. The box office opens at 4PM weekdays and at 5:30PM Saturday and at 12:30PM Sunday. This will be the sixth LTO play directed by Jeffrey Jackson. Jackson raves about the set for this production. The date of the play has been moved up to sometime in the 1920s. One of the challenges of directing this play is the lack of stage directions. Shakespeare simply states when an actor exits and when one enters the scene. It's up to the director to connect the dots from the dialogue to coordinate when and how the entrances and exits are made.
