Sheriff Lon Thiele stopped by to visit with Todd Hale on Fair Talk on AM 1390. Starting Monday, parents may stop at law enforcement and pick up a special blue tag for their child. Officers will help with the pertinent information and explain where to place the tag on your child. You will also be able to pick up a blue tag at the Law Enforcement office on the Fairgrounds. Other things parents can do to help find their child should they separate, is to take a recent picture of your child and make a point to memorize or even write down what your child is wearing to the fair. Two years ago, approximately 2 dozen children were separated from their parents at the fair.
