Little Theatre of Owatonna Announces Cast for ‘Prelude to a Kiss’

The Little Theatre of Owatonna announces the cast for its February production of Prelude to a Kiss. Performance dates are February 17-19 and 24-26.

Nate Chesney and Emily Schoenbeck will play the roles of Peter and Rita, who get married but then face a dilemma. At the wedding reception Rita is kissed by an old man, to be played by Bill Wood, and the two switch bodies. Peter searches for a way to switch them back.

Other performers include Austin Parrish, Jim Holten, Maria Diaz, Tim Fitzgerald, Linda Karnauskas, Kathy Purdie, Curt Jorgenson and Amber Boettcher.

Craig Berg will direct and Mary Butler-Fraser is the technical director. Click here for information on tickets. The box office will be open beginning Monday, February 13, for ticket sales.

LTO presents the Shakespearean play Much Ado About Nothing in April, directed by Jeffery Jackson. The summer 2017 production is Funny Girl, directed by Linda Karnauskas. Little Theatre of Owatonna was organized in April 1966 and celebrated its 50th anniversary season in 2015-16.
