The Little Theatre of Owatonna will hold auditions for their winter play 'A Streetcar Named Desire".

The auditions will be Sunday, December 10 and Monday, December 11 from 6-8PM both evenings. This is considered one of the greatest works of Tennessee William's and it helped launch the career of Marlon Brando. Brando has a bit of an area tie as he was kicked out of Shattuck-St. Mary's school in Faribault years ago.

Audition materials are available at the Owatonna Public Library and the Owatonna People's Press.

There are four major roles as well as supporting roles for four men and four women. There are also several non speaking roles.

Rehearsals will begin on January 2, 2018 with productions stage in mid February.

The play will be directed by Jeffrey Jackson with technical direction by Kristi Westergaard.
