It's the 45th Litomysl Summer Festival at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Sunday, July 31. The Owatonna Knights of Columbus will be singing in the church at 9:15AM followed by a Polka Mass at 10AM.

The festival begins at 11AM with an inside sit-down lunch running until 2PM. There will be outdoor food booths along with games for all ages. One of the new games this year is Carpet Ball. The crew will be making about 300 dozen filled biscuits, which will be on sale starting at 11AM on Sunday. These goodies are filled with apricot, or prune or poppyseed. Bring along a cooler if you plan on buying some.

The festival also features live music from the Klecker Band, Czech Lites, Dan Stursa Band and Hans Hohrman along with a silent auction along with a country and used a bit store.

If you need to park along the road, there will be a shuttle to the church grounds.

The grounds are 8 miles south of Owatonna and then 2 miles east. Remember Highway 45 is still closed so coming from Owatonna, take the freeway south to the Hope exit and go east to Highway 3 and then south on Highway 3 to Highway 4 and go east to get back on Highway 45.

You can learn further details by going to the Holy Trinity website.
