We have a soccer announcer doing a football game. So a field goal becomes a gooooooooal! Kind of funny. I can think of a couple other play-by-play matchups that probably wouldn't work. How about comedian Gilbert Godfrey calling a golf tournament? He missed the shot. Oh good grief. Look at what he did. He blew it. Or about Gov. Mark Dayton teaming up with Sid Hartman on a hockey play-by-play? I won't comment further on that one. Deadpan comedian Steven Wright probably wouldn't be a top choice to call a boxing match.
