Thoughts seem to come and go. Sometimes completely forgotten and other times they sneak back in, which can be pretty nice.

I was looking back on some of my blogs and came across the video of the neighbors dog rolling in the snow. Now for the forgotten thought that came back. That made me think of a video that I had taken on a windy and snowy day that I thought I could show on a HOT summer day, like we are about to have. I think I changed my mind and deleted it.

To tell the truth, hot summer days brings back a cool memory for me. On a hot summer day, I walked into work to hear a Christmas song. I was told that a listener had called in to request it just hoping that it would help cool it down some. It was a little odd and fun.

Remember on hot days to :

  • Drink plenty of fluids, water is recommended.
  • Wear light-colored clothing and hats.
  • Put on sunblock (SPF) if working or playing outside.
  • Take breaks by going inside or in the shade.
  • Do not leave children or pets in vehicles.
  • Check on neighbors and friends without air conditioning.
  • Fans will help move the air around for a nice breeze inside, with or without a/c.

The sun is shining above ... Think Happy (Cool) Thoughts.
