My husband and I decided to clean our dirty off-white carpeting. It was there when we moved in. We changed some things but not the carpeting. Bummer.

My husband brought in the steamer and put it off to the side until Sunday. George snuck up to it suspiciously. Zeke did not think too much about it but sniffed it because George did.

It was nice enough to be outside golfing, but Sunday we decided to clean the carpet. The steamer had to be returned in a couple of days.

Our plan of putting the furniture in the galley kitchen and still have a walkway worked nicely. Then time to vacuum. George went upstairs. Zeke hung out for a while. The steamer was filled and ready. Hooray. I gave a couple of spots shots of extra spot remover.

At one point I looked over at Zeke and noticed he was giving a little extra pawing to one particular bad spot. He continued to supervise us as we moved around. At one point we put him in a window and he did not like the feeling and decided to find George.

We took a little break and George snuck down to see what was going on. He was not happy to see that machine and soon went back upstairs. It was safer.

Finally we finished. The fans ran all night and the carpet dried. Now we had to put everything back. No we did not rearrange, back to normal. Kitties supervised and approved. The machine went back. Of course, there just happened to be a spot that showed up but it is now a clean spot.
