Each Thursday we'll be featuring our KRFO Radio Pup of the Week. It'll be a dog up for adoption offered by the Steele County Humane Society.

We'll start it off with Oliver. He's been looking for a home for quite a while. He was born in February 2013 and has been waiting to be adopted since May 2015. Oliver is an Australian cattle dog. He's not real wild about going outside. He's crate trained but needs some more work on his potty training.

He's been vet checked, neutered and vaccinated. Oliver can be yours for $200.

Oliver looks a lot like my childhood dog Brownie. Brownie's story was interesting as I had one grandfather who did not like dogs. My other grandfather is the one who brought Brownie out to the farm. My parents hid him from my other grandfather in a shed. It didn't take long and my other grandpa and Brownie became the best of friends.

Contact the Steele County Humane Society at (507) 451-4512 if you'd like to meet Oliver and learn more about him.

Oliver is this week's KRFO Radio Pup of the Week. And to follow the Huskies, download the radioPup app and listen to the Huskies games via KRFO on your mobile device.
