Undated (KROC AM News) - More than 300 Minnesotans ended up in a hospital last week after coming down with the flu.

The latest weekly report from the Minnesota Health Dept shows flu activity around the state remains widespread.

There were 346 hospitalizations reported, 80 more than the previous week.

And there was a big spike in flu outbreaks at nursing homes. The weekly total hit 19, compared to just 3 the prior week.
